Description

This is a list of individuals who have invested in ISAs because they wish to take advantage of the tax saving incentives introduced by the government to encourage consumer saving.  These individuals are often inexperienced investors and new names are constantly being added.  Customer Profiling shows that people come from all socio-economic groups, predominantly male, 25 years or older, and in the medium income brackets.

ISA stands for Individual Savings Account. They were launched by the government on 6 April 1999 to replace PEPs and TESSAs. ISAs are investment savings account with a tax efficient wrapper. The word “wrapper” refers to the rules which provide the tax protection to the investments held in the account. The ISA account itself is not an investment it is what you hold within that account. With ISA you can hold: cash; life assurance; and stocks & shares (including listed shares and investments in unit trusts and OEICs). You can either hold these components together in a Maxi ISA or separately in a Mini ISA.

Data is 100% postcoded and cleaned against the MPS file; new names are being added daily.

Accuracy

All names were contacted within the last 6 months; individuals who no longer invest in ISAs are automatically removed from the database.

Selections

Data can be selected by sex, age, and geography; if you purchase either one of the 4 test quantities above, we supply a selection of the most recently added names, irrespective of sex, age, and geography.

Data structure

The following fields are supplied, as standard, for each record: Name, full address including PAF verified postcodes, salutation.

Output formats

CD-ROMs/Email attachments are sent in both (a) comma-delimited text (.txt) and (b) Microsoft Excel (.xls) formats.

• (a) The comma-delimited text format is suitable for import into any spreadsheet, database or contact management software, as well as mail-merge

• (b) The Microsoft Excel fomat is, universally, the most popular format for the despatch of mailing lists, and over 99% of computer users are familiar with Excel.

Self-adhesive labels are supplied 24 labels per page (the size of each label is 64mm x 34 mm).

Delivery

Data is dispatched on (a) CD-ROM or via e-mail and/or (b) self-adhesive labels, as specified in our online shop; where we send you our list by e-mail, this is usually done the same day the order is placed; otherwise, please allow 1-2 working days from receipt of order.
