Description
This is a list of individuals who have invested in shares quoted on either the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) or Ofex . Customer Profiling shows that most people are from the higher socio-economic groups, predominantly male, 30 years or older, in the higher income brackets, and with a stated willingness to invest in high risk shares.
Specifically tailored to growing businesses, AIM combines the benefits of a public quotation with a flexible regulatory approach. AIM gives companies from all countries and sectors access to the market at an earlier stage of their development, allowing them to experience life as a public company. Since AIM opened in 1995, more than 1,300 companies have been admitted and more than £11 billion has been raised collectively.
Ofex is the UK's independent market focussed on small and medium enterprises from around the world. Ofex is based on the market making trading system. Ofex was created in October 1995 as a trading facility for unquoted and unlisted securities. In 2002, Ofex became a prescribed market under Section 118 of the Financial Services & Markets Act 2000, authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority, and Ofex plc took over the operation of the market. Ofex Holdings plc changed its name to PLUS Markets Group plc in 2004 following a process of refinancing and restructuring.
Data is 100% postcoded and cleaned against the MPS file; new names are being added daily.
